Rumours of a BlackBerry tablets have been circulating for months, and analyst reports Ashok Kumar of Rodman & Renshaw on Friday has rekindled this discussion with better accuracy.
A source close to RIM confirmed by Kumar Betanews that the statement was accurate, including the size of the screen, and dual-camera setup. But they gave us some additional information that the rumor is not closed yet: Flash support.
In May, when Boy Genius Report wrote about it, an estimated 8.9 berukukran tablets “, and equipped only with a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, making it complementary to owners of BlackBerry devices, such as the Palm Foleo ever launched.

Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen says Flash is coming to the BlackBerry 1.10 in the second half of 2010, and in June, the company released Flash Player 10.1 mobile platform for partners, which include support for Android, WebOS, Windows Phone, LiMo, MeeGo, symbian, and, as expected, the BlackBerry.

Informant BlackBerry BetaNews says that tablets indeed will support Flash, and will have a Flash-based hardware accelerator.
Although the iPhone a huge success in the United States, still far behind the BlackBerry in market share. And the Blackberry will also be trying out a tablet market, though, where Apple has got a strong start with the iPad, although Apple has refused to support for Adobe Flash.
While the effect of tablet BlackBerry Flash-in consumer markets is unclear, it may prove to be a highly desirable companion device for mobile enterprise users.

Unfortunately, our sources do not confirm the report about the launch date of this tablet. However, the holiday season is a favourable time to launch new hardware, and seasonal buyer has done wonders for devices such as Motorola Droid which was launched in the holiday season last year and became the best selling Android phones until now.
